I love Toronto.
Especially at Christmas time!


Cavalcade of Lights at Nathan Phillips Square

It's busy, it's fast and it sparkles all night. Tall buildings light up the sky and tower over the tiny people below. Its down here on the ground where you find the action. Weekday or weekend, morning or night, there's something to keep you occupied.
While flipping through a local magazine I stumbled across a calendar for upcoming events in the city. There are quite a few, but these are the ones that interest me most!


Window Wonderland
Stroll along the downtown business district on Young St. and enjoy holiday vision come to life. See how Ryerson students create a seasonal display on only $100.  Also, go online and vote for your fave.

Illuminite
Breathtaking spectacle of lights, music and pyrotechnics, held at Yonge-Dundas Square. A 45-foot sculptural tree will be lit up last to close the ceremony.

Cavalcade of Lights
Dazzling display of lights in downtown Toronto. A 45 year old tradition; with live musical performances, glittering lights, ice skating and the lighting of the official Christmas Tree. A fireworks display is the grand finale, all held at Nathan Phillips Square.
