It´s been a pretty great week! I was given full liberty of the house and its utilities so I got to come and go as I pleased. I got to do laundry (thank goodness), use the computer, cook a little and relax A LOT. I found myself stuck infront of the TV one afternoon and after watching ¨The Secret Garden¨, I gave my head a shake then headed into town. I felt ridiculous for wasting precious hours when I could have been exploring. But it felt so good to be on a couch having my tea. Guilty pleasure!
Anyways, for the rest of the week I did some more touring and exploring. I climbed a mini mountain, visited a vineyard, read in the park and took some long drives through the mountains with Javier.
One afternoon we met up with some Russian girls who were going ¨the way of Santiago¨ - one of them hurt her leg and needed a lift to the next town. It was a really nice drive and we got to learn a little Russian. I remember nothing, of course. Apparently learning new languages doesn´t come very easily for me.
Here are some shots from the week!

Saturday I head to Barcelona! Cant wait to see some new territory!!
Buenos Noches everyone!!
Kelly, your photos are awesome! So glad to see that you are enjoying your travels and being an official backpacker! Don't burn yourself out with touring... it's okay to have some time on the couch; otherwise the novelty of travelling may be missed. I'm glad the travel bug bit you and you were back out again. Be safe and have fun!

Totally siding with Susan... you've been taking in a lot! Enjoy your tea :)
ReplyDeleteAnd, it's not your imagination - produce actually has taste in Europe... higher quality of product. Tom and I will eat the exact same dish in Belgrade that we make here at home and the Europe version always tastes five times more incredible haha... quality and the ambiance always adds to the flavour :)
MMMMMMMMMUAH!
Wow...looks like you've been having such a great time! Those places in the pictures look so beautiful! Meeting any other interesting people? It mustve a fun and interesting ride with the 2 russians. Keep exploring and keep safe! *muah*
