This will be a short post, as its costing me 10 euro cents a minute!!
But im in Italy, so its ok.
Im currently doing a trek through Cinque Terres! An area composed of 5 little towns on the western coast, all built up along the mountains. Its absolutely stunning. I started in Montesorro and hiked for 2 hours up (and down) the side of a mountain to get to Vernazza, the next town over. I had a late lunch (fresh sea bass baked with potatos, tomatos and olives!) and then headed to the train station to catch the train to the next town. Your supposed to be able to hike the whole way, but due to rock slides the paths are closed.
Unfortunately though, the train is delayed an hour and 15 mins!
Im using the time wisely by blogging and searching for places to stay in Rome! Ill be heading out of Florence tomorrow.
Florence is amazing! I had lots of time to fully explore and enjoy all the sights. Not too rushed! Thats the key. Yesterday I visited Ufizzi Museum - I must admit, it is my favourite museum so far! "The Birth Of Venus" made me stop in my tracks and actually gave me goose bumps. Its stunning.
